Mailo was found together with his six siblings and their mum at a recycling center on Paros—a dangerous and unsuitable place for such a young family. One devoted shelter worker visited them several times a day, bringing food and patiently earning their trust.

Thanks to this commitment, Mailo and his family were finally rescued and are now safe at the shelter.
